In the last 12 months the club has been able to donate over £3,000 to charity including £1,000 for medical supplies to go to Ukraine, £1,000 to Rotary International Foundation for humanitarian aid where it is needed as well as supporting local charities in the South West.
The Rotary Club of Yatton and district was Chartered in 1995. We are a small club but we punch above our weight, serving our local community and fundraising thousands of pounds in recent years.
We meet at the Bridge Inn,North End Road BS49 4AU which is located on the B3133 between Kenn and Yatton. We usually meet on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7.00pm (although this may vary so always check with us)
This hotel is often used by passengers using Bristol Airport which is only a short distance away. It is also used by the airport for delayed passengers so, if you are a Rotarian, we would welcome you on our club night if you happen to be at the hotel.

Yatton is a large village situated in North Somerset , approximately 11 miles south west of Bristol and some six miles east of Weston super Mare, a well known holiday resort. It has become a sought after location to live for people working in Bristol and the surrounding areas. . Yatton is known for its excellent transport links, community spirit, and rural charm, it serves as a key commuter hub while retaining a distinct village character.
The origins of the village and its name are unclear; however, there is evidence of Iron Age hill fort and a Roman villa in the area. The arrival of the railway in the 19th century and more recent road building have led to expansion of the village with Yatton now acting as a home to many commuters, while also supporting manufacturing industry and commerce. Yatton’s population is now over 9,000.
The Yatton skyline is dominated by the Church of St Mary which dates from the 14th century and can be seen from many miles away.
Yatton is situated on a main railway line with good services to London, Bristol and Weston super Mare. Trains to the rest of the UK can be accessed via connections at Bristol.
